The fastest I have made it coast to coast was 2.5 days..... That wasn't in a VW though, a Ford Pick Up truck filled with VW parts :-)

In a VW if you want to have fun plan on it taking a full 5 days to make the trip, stopping to see some sights..

I'd much rather go further north and take I 80, then drop down in the denver area and start heading South... You can take I40 all the way to I15 in Barstow and that'll merge with I 5 just NW of the show site.., But I 40 is the second most boring route, only second to I 10...

Man it is a long time in a car I think I will just meet your out there. Me and my wife are going to fly out there for thr frist time .

The trip would be the only fun part to me..
I lived 2 miles from the show site and went there every year to see the same thing... Just blinged out shiny VWs with all the same generic parts in most instances.. The trip would be a blast!

imagine that a bker turning to super to turn a real trip across country. if you plan ur trip right then look at the route from a satellite thats far enough away it will look like a straight line.

I have to agree with Jake....... The trip would be the fun part to me, kind of an adventure. Guess there aint to many "MEN" up for that these days..........
