Beth and I were glad to have everyone, as always..
Thang had a big smile on his face when he got the Dyno tuning certificate.. I was pleased when I heard who built his engine, but surprised that they make engine stands short enough for him to assemble something! Must be a custom unit, or perhaps his masculine son helped him with the parts that were physically challenging for him :-)

BTW- Jon's truck ended up at the bottom of Raby Mountain somehow stuck a few feet from the Pond.... LOL

I would like to point out that I did not get my truck stuck....PETE DID. I let him use my truck to pull Jake's trailer to go back to Blairsville to pick up his broke squareback. Jake fixed it for him late Saturday night and when Pete left he went down the ONLY road he was told not to. It was real stuck at the end of the road that goes to the quagmire Jake calls a pond. We did get it out, but it was not fun and it not the way I had planned to start this morning.

LOL... Its normally not that nasty at the Pond.. I was using the loader to clear out some Kudzu and then all this damn rain started and it turned really nasty!

We told pete not to do that!!

Its amazing, I built that road 18 years ago and until Steve, Bob and Pete did this NO ONE ever had before!

Damn that sucks about the single. Glad everybody is ok. How bad did the single get it? is it fixable?

Drove 359 miles Sat . Had a blast and only adjusted the linkage half a turn . Didnt have to work on the car for this event, and I enjoied myself very much, tahnks to the Athens Club and all those that made it happen.

Cave's ride was running good for sure!
Must've been that tune up :-)

It was tuned in the mountains!

It does seem to like the Mtn Air. It seems to run better th higher that we got. When we were way up it seemed to get a little better throttle responce? Maby just me I dont know. 28.2 MPG is what it got!!!!! That is a bonus when you see how it was driven.

Now to find some type 3 rears for it. And maby some disk for the front.
