Im sure some of you have gone to disc from drum but I am wondering if those that have are
satisfied with the conversion. Just did my bearings last weekend and was giving it some thought.

It would be good to leave the drums (original ) but disc would be an overall better system ?
Just wanted to get some feedback?
They work fine but would hate to one day not have any. affraid

I've always run drums! Old school I guess. I have heard good things about discs as well. Tuff call...

I run Drums also.... but put disc on Renee's VW and liked them ...only draw back i saw was if your not running a wider tire (she had 145's) in wet weather her fronts would lock up quik ! I also wouldn't run the one you have pictured...to heavy IMO.. and also remember they will give you a lil wider trac...if your beam is not narrowed enough you will rub. hope this helps....

This just might be my first post ever with no smack !!!!! Shocked

I have CB disc brakes That is the best investment ever I have done to my VW. With the dropped spindle it's abot 3" wider then original. I have narrowed my beam 5" if I remember right. With that combination it works perfect.

Thanks, may wait till I find the right ones would do front and rear. ( current sizes 195 front 205 rear ) Been thinking of going smaller in the front any way ( rear is ok )
My current spindles are dropped 2" , which I would also need to replace with the kit ?
Willl need to consider the spacing for sure, AIRKEWLD has some nice kits .

Mohawk - Dont have that much off my beam will have to measure it off it was replaced, dont think it has quite 5".
